Sylvia Heeren has a great passion for nature, animals and painting. She is self-taught, born 1966 in Capelle a / d IJssel and living in Zevenhoven in the Netherlands where she mostly get inspired.
Her love and passion for animals is recorded in the oil paintings and animal portraits on commission, so the character of the animal is well portrayed. Through the assignments, the passion and the love for painting, her enthusiasm for painting has grown even more. It is important to the light in the eyes of the animal or human. Happiness, sadness, all the emotion can be read into eyes. Eyes speak louder than words. It is wonderful that she can capture the emotions of humans and animals in the paintings and can show this to everyone.
